Abstrak
Apprehensive working conditions in the garment sector are becoming an issue among some scholars. This study investigates the working conditions in some garment factories located on Java Island. The focus of this study is to examine the effects of work-life balance (WLB) on workers’ job satisfaction in the garment industry. Convenience sampling was used for this research and the samples consist of some areas in the Java Islands. This research was conducted based on 55 samples. The hypothesis was tested using the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) Version 23, and focuses on results from group discussion. The results show that WLB does influence workers’ job satisfaction. It also reveals apprehensive working conditions in garment factories with excessive working hours and low wages. © 2020 by Nova Science Publishers, Inc. All rights reserved.
