Abstrak
A 14” diameter onshore pipeline is buried and exposed to soil and river water. Some threats related to underground condition were identified such as soil corrosion and brackish water corrosion on external surface of pipeline. This pipeline was assessed to determine the risk level by calculating the value of PoF and CoF. The methodology complies with the developed RBI methodologies for pipeline sections such as onshore, nearshore, and subsea pipeline. The PoF value had three main components i.e. exposure, mitigation, and resistance. While the CoF value was obtained by calculating the total cost related to people safety, environment, asset and production lost. All calculations were done by using software of NEXUS Integrity Centre. It provides the value of PoF, CoF, risk level, integrity status, and expected loss. The recommendations were made to prevent the time dependent failure.
