Abstrak
Human activities around the world have generated various wastes. The seriousness and importance of waste management are recognized as Goal 12 of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which includes Responsible Production and Consumption. The government has regulated waste management policies ranging from laws to governor regulations, but the practice has not been effective. Findings show that there is still an accumulation of waste in big cities and even the accumulation in landfills is seen as something common. This research discusses 'Human behavior in household waste management' by examining the factors influencing community participation intention for household waste classification. The results show that the research area of waste management is very broad and has many interrelationships. This aligns with the Vos Viewer output which categorizes the research area into seven clusters. Aligning these factors with the goal of zero waste is critical to the city's success in addressing household waste and developing a waste management system based on the Theory of planned behavior. In addition to the factors, this study also shows the proposed conceptual model plan to evaluate human behaviors in household waste management. © 2024 IEEE.
