Introduction: The COVID-19 pandemic has had a very significant impact on various aspects of human life today. The lack of public awareness of health protocols has caused the number of COVID-19 to increase. Objective: This study aims to increase the knowledge and attitudes of MSME employees of the Faithful Cooperative Building the People (KSMU) towards the prevention of COVID-19. Method: The research was conducted using qualitative methods and selected information using the Quota Sampling technique. Data were collected using in-depth interviews and observation methods. Result: The results of the study, most of the informants felt vulnerable to contracting COVID-19 because their assets were in contact with many people and remained active in meeting people when the PSBB was enforced. The informant also stated that people with congenital or comorbid diseases would be more susceptible to contracting COVID-19. Perceptions of threats according to informants are not only related to health conditions, but also have an impact on daily activities. some informants stated that the obstacle in implementing COVID-19 prevention was limited funds to purchase health protocols. All of the informants mentioned that COVID-19 prevention is useful in order to avoid COVID-19. All information conveys that there are only external influences that make the prevention of COVID-19 confident for the informants, this is because all the informants have never confirmed positive for COVID-19 so they feel safe. All information has sufficient confidence to prevent COVID 19. From the results of interviews with five informants, all of them added that individual practices for preventing COVID-19 were to use masks, wash hands with soap and keep a distance. In addition, it is also important to carry out vaccinations to prevent COVID-19. Conclusion: This study is that preventive measures against COVID 19 can indicate individual perceptions of vulnerabilities, threats, barriers, advantages, and internal-external influences. © 2023, Muhammadiyah Palu University.
