Abstrak
Right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) stenting has been used for the initial treatment of unrepaired tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) patients. However, RVOT stenting has only reported in neonates and young children. 1 Unrepaired adult TOF patients are common in low-and middle-income countries, complicating the situation. Previously, this population was treated conservatively with medicine in order to improve their quality of life. 2-4 This single-center study aims to explore the outcomes of RVOT stenting in adult patients with Fallot physiology. This study is retrospective, single-center study of eleven adults with unrepaired TOF who underwent RVOT stenting between December 2019 and January 2024. The local hospital ethics review board approved RVOT stenting as a palliative procedure for adult TOF patients and the ethics board approved this retrospective study.
