Below is the abstract for the manuscript: Abstract Background The Questionnaire to Evaluate Nurses' Adherence to Recommendations for Preventing Pressure Ulcers (QARPPU) is concise and suitable for assessing nurses' self-reported adherence to pressure injury prevention in an acute setting. However, Indonesian versions of the QARPPU are lacking. Aims To cross-culturally translate the QARPPU into Bahasa Indonesian and assess its psychometric properties among Indonesian-speaking nurses. Methods The original QARPPU was adapted, translated, and validated for use into Bahasa Indonesian. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 1112 nurses who received the Bahasa Indonesian version of the QARPPU. Results The Bahasa Indonesian version of the 17-item QARPPU had good retest reliability (Interclass Correlation Coefficient [ICC] = 0.69) and internal consistency (Cronbach's alpha = 0.93). The exploratory factor analysis (EFA) identified a one-factor model (Eigenvalue = 11.8) that explained 67.39 % of variance. Confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) confirmed a one-dimensional structure. CFA revealed a good goodness-of-fit (minimum discrepancy of confirmatory factor analysis/degrees of freedom (CMIN/DF) = 2.50, comparative fit index (CFI) = 0.96, Tucker-Lewis index (TLI) = 0.95, root-mean-square error of approximation (RMSEA) = 0.054). Discriminant, convergent, and known-groups validity provided empirical support. Conclusions The revised 17-item QARPPU is valid and reliable for assessing adherence to pressure injury prevention protocols among Bahasa Indonesian-speaking nurses.
