Abstrak
Broadband receivers require a filter as one of its most important components, which plays a role in filtering out unwanted signals. In this work, an IF bandpass filter is designed with a gyrator-C active inductor based on OTAs (Operational Transconductance Amplifiers) as a replacement for passive inductors. The designed filter is based on a passive LC prototype where the passive inductor is replaced with an active inductor. The proposed circuit is designed using TSMC 90-nm CMOS technology. Simulation results show that the designed filter has a center frequency of 300 MHz and a bandwidth of 42.67 MHz with a transmission coefficient of -1.044 dB. The filter's relative bandwidth is 14.22% with a power consumption of 3.902 mW. This filter performances show a narrower relative bandwidth while consuming less power. © 2024 IEEE.
