This study purposed to determine the differences in linear and angular measurements of dentocraniofacial asymmetry parameters using two dimensional method and three dimensional method. This cross-sectional study was regulated at the Orthodontic Specialist Clinic of Dental Hospital Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Indonesia on CBCT radiographs taken from 16 patients diagnosed with Dentocraniofacial Asymmetry. A posteroanterior cephalogram was reconstructed from the CBCT. Linear and angular measurements were performed on the same reconstructed posteroanterior cephalogram and CBCT radiographs using 18 parameters on deviated and opposite side. The Interclass correlation coefficient (ICC) test was carried out to see interobserver and intraobserver reliability. The Pair T-Test is used to see the differences between the two methods. There are significant differences (p<0,05) in measurement results of all parameters using those two methods except on the Upper Molar parameters (U6CP) and Orbita Line parameters (p>0,05). Even though there are significant differences in almost all linear and angular asymmetry parameters measurements, the diagnostic results produced by both methods remain the same. © (2024), (University of Dicle).
