Abstrak
Introduction: The development of COVID-19 in the world currently has 151 million confirmed positive cases. Meanwhile, there were 3.1 million deaths due to COVID-19. The still high number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has become a concern and vigilance for the Indonesian government and society in seeking and controlling the rate of spread of COVID-19 cases. Nurses, as human resources for health workers, also make a big contribution to health services in hospitals in terms of direct services. to the patient. Nursing services are essential for the lives and well-being of patients, therefore the nursing profession must be accountable for the quality of care provided. Objective: This study aims to analyze the impact of the Covid 19 pancemic on the workload of nurses in providing services at the Kebayoran Baru Regional Hospital Method: This research uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological design. Data was collected using the in-depth interview (WM) method with health care coordinators, head nurses in the ER, ICU and inpatient rooms, as well as functional nurses who served in the ER, ICU and inpatient rooms. Results: Research shows that there is an increase in workload during the pandemic which is much different compared to before the pandemic, in these conditions the management position is very important to organize and create a good work cycle, so that all services can run well during the Covid 19 pandemic. Conclusion: The increase in nurses' workload during the Covid 19 pandemic is very important for management positions to create a good work cycle, so that all wheels of service at the Kebayoran Baru Regional Hospital continue to run well. © 2023, Muhammadiyah Palu University.
