Abstrak
The coronavirus disease pandemic (COVID-19) can increased risk of morbidity and mortality, underscoring the urgent need to increase health care provision for this group and maintain global health commitments to achieve Universal Health Coverage. This research was conducted in the Depok’s Deaf Coffee Community which aims to determine differences in knowledge, attitudes, and behavior before and after providing education and empowerment regarding COVID-19. The research method used is quantitative research with the Quaxi Experimental method with the form of a one group pre-test and post-test design. The results showed that there is no significant difference in knowledge between before and after education (p = 0.054). There is a significant difference in attitude between before and after being given education (p = 0.011). There is a significant difference in behavior between before and after being given education and assistance (p = 0.01). The conclusion from this study is that there are different attitudes and behaviors about COVID-19, and there is no difference in knowledge about COVID-19. The recommendation for this study, it can collaborate with Depok health department for implementing COVID-19 prevention program to deaf community. © 2022 MPPKI. All rights reserved.
