Background: MTCT is a program to prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV. There are 4 PMCTCT programs, namely carrying out activities to prevent HIV transmission at reproductive age, preventing unplanned pregnancies in HIV positive pregnant women, preventing babies from contracting HIV from HIV positive pregnant women, and supporting HIV positive mothers and psychologically, socially, and economically. access to care. In 2013-2019 HIV testing increased, but since the Covid-19 pandemic in 2020 it has decreased. Objective: To analyze the PMTCT program during the Covid-19 pandemic. Methods: Methods of traditional narrative literature review approach from computerized databases, such as Google Scholar, Proquest, and Scopus. Results: MTCT during the Covid-19 pandemic experienced delays. This happened because of the Covid-19 prevention policy which limited the space for pregnant women due to the lockdown or PPKM and health workers in providing PMTCT services that prioritized handling Covid-19 prevention. Families of pregnant women with HIV also do not provide psychological support in accessing care. Conclusion: Education is needed for families to support pregnant women in accessing PMTCT services during the Covid-19 pandemic. Utilization of technology can be useful for disseminating PMTCT information. Rapid initiation of ARV and Multi Months Dispensing (MMD) during a pandemic can be a solution for community movements. © 2022 MPPKI. All rights reserved.
