Despite advancements in plasma electrolysis technology, several limitations remain, particularly in the performance of air injectors and anode erosion, which impedes its application for the degradation of textile dye waste. This research aimed to analyze the most effective plasma electrode materials and air injector designs for the degradation of Remazol Red (RR) dye waste using plasma electrolysis technology. Additionally, the impact of voltage on waste degradation was investigated. Experiments were conducted at a constant power of 600 W in a 1.2 L reactor using stainless steel 304 (SS 304), stainless steel 316 (SS 316), and tungsten as plasma electrode materials. At 550 V, 600 V, and 650 V voltages, the most favorable outcomes were observed using SS 304 electrodes at 550 V. The assessed parameters included the percentage of waste degradation and anode erosion. After 10 minutes, the degradation of RR reached 98.99%, with an anode mass loss of 3.9 mg. © 2025, Institute of Electrostatics. All rights reserved.
