Introduction: The implementation of infection prevention and control programs by health workers that is less than optimal causes a high risk of infection related to health services (Health Care Associated Infections) both in patients, officers, visitors, and the community around health care facilities. Objective: This study aims to determine the factors that influence the compliance of health workers in implementing infection prevention and control programs in health care facilities. Metzhods: The research design is a literature review of articles that discuss the compliance of health workers in implementing infection prevention and control programs in health care facilities. Articles obtained from Google Scholar and PubMed with the keywords “compliance, health workers, implementation of infection prevention and control programs”. The articles used are in Indonesian and English, and have been published within the last 5 years from 2018 to 2022. Results: A Google Scholar search using keywords found 368 articles, while a PubMed search using keywords found 40 articles. From the search results, screening was carried out according to the criteria and research objectives, and 10 articles were obtained that were worthy of this literature review. Conclusion: The factors that influence the compliance of health workers in implementing infection prevention and control programs are education, training, clarity of information, knowledge, attitudes, motivation, risk perception, work climate, availability of facilities and facilities, organizational policies and supervision/ supervision. © 2023 MPPKI.
