Abstrak
Container loading and unloading activities are one of the lines that contribute the largest carbon emissions in the port area. Each port has begun to implement the Green Port concept as an effort to mitigate carbon emissions. This study aims to compare carbon emissions at container terminals in Indonesia, then analyze the calculation results to obtain a carbon emission reduction strategy. The calculation model in this study uses the bottom-up method which makes the fuel consumption value the result of calculations with a formula from the container movement theory. The case study uses container terminals spread across Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the container terminal with the best container service efficiency based on CO2 emissions per TEU is case study 1 at 9.8 kg of CO2 emissions per TEU.
